functions at the driftwood café
We have a range of options for functions, from small and intimate dinners to large scale celebrations. With a variety of function spaces available there is the right space for your event. Sample menu's are below, but we are completely flexible and can design a menu to suit your needs.
the atrium
The long “side bit” at the side of the driftwood with a sliding roof that opens during the warmer months. The atrium has it’s own bar and access in and out. Perfect for stand-up canapé events or one long, central table for shared dining.

the back room
The recently added, but much needed extension to the driftwood. We are able to close off the back room for private events from the main dining space. There is a bar for drinks service and access to bathrooms. A space perfect for early morning breakfast meetings or family celebrations.

For larger events or those that need exclusivity, we offer the entire driftwood café. Whether a sit down meal or canapé and drinks party, the driftwood is yours for the evening.

Costs - Friday & Saturday $3000 minimum spend
Sunday to Thursday $1000 minimum spend
(Atrium or Main Dining only)

All minimum costs include food and drinks only. There is no hire fee if these minimums are reached.
catering away
The Driftwood Café is more than happy to bring the Driftwood experience to you. We can cater for anything from small gatherings to large scale weddings, from ten people to two hundred, nothing is too big or too small.
We have fryers, ovens, fridges and a coffee machine that we can bring to you. All we need is a clean space and power! We can take The Driftwood anywhere.
We can do anything from fully catered and staffed events, including bar service. If you are after something more simple we can do that to, including delivering canapes to your door.
We are here to help and are very flexible with what we can do for you. Tell us what you are looking for and we will put together a menu to ensure you and your guests are looked after.
coffee
If you would like to enjoy The Driftwood’s delicious Cirrus Fine Coffee at your event, we can bring our experienced Barista’s and a baby version of our machine to you. (This does require 15Amp power supply and water/tap). Machine, Barista and coffee, tea and hot chocolate included for up to 100 people only $500. Pricing increases with numbers. Alternatively we can set up a tea & coffee station where guests can help themselves to peculated coffee and tea from $1 per person.
staff for function
The Driftwood is able to offer staff for functions, big and small. Paid hourly with a minimum of 3 hours. We are also happy to offer glassware and a full set up and pack down service.
Bar Service
Our liquor licence allows us to serve alcohol (with food) at any venue. Let us look after the food and drinks for your special occasion. You just need to worry about having a good time.
we cook and you pick up
The Driftwood is happy for you to arrange pick up of food for any party, big or small. From sandwiches for a picnic to large bowls of salad to compliment your BBQ. With a minimum of 24 hours notice we can do just about anything. A menu will be put together with you and your guests in mind.
